Mark Your Calendar: Merced County Courthouse Museum will open the “Painting Merced County: Landmarks Immortalized by Artists” exhibit on Thursday, October 10, at 5 p.m.
Local artists Carole Kamerer, Jackie Anderson, John Harrell, Judith Burton, Linda Abbott, Penny Waha, Rose Tripp, Susan Regert, Tonia Hemme, Wendy Bright, Karen McComb, Eileen Partlow, Ethel Nelson, Sandy Price, Cheryl Lockett, Karen LeCocq, Dob Francise, and Jacob Charles are taking a new look at our historic buildings, monuments, and sites.
At the opening, local performer/artist Art Barajas will present live entertainment at the Courthouse Museum steps at 5:30 p.m. For more information about the exhibit, please contact the Museum office at (209) 723-2401.
