Arbor Gallery Fine Art is looking for new artists to join our Co-op gallery!
Arbor Gallery artists are a dedicated group of artists who have come together to establish a cooperative gallery. Arbor Gallery artists are not just united by a shared gallery but by a shared passion for the arts. We are on a mission to not only showcase our individual talents but to create a supportive artistic space that is committed to diversity, collaboration, art education and creating a vibrant art community within Merced County.
Arbor Gallery is located inside The MAC, at 645 W Main Street in downtown Merced.
New artists are juried into the coop once per month. Simply bring five pieces of your gallery-ready art that represents your talent and abilities, pay a $25 non-refundable jury fee, and complete a short application.
Requirements of all Arbor Gallery co-op members:
- Pay rent of $35 on the 1st of each month
- Allow Arbor Gallery Fine Art to retain 20% commission when artwork is sold
- Staff and maintain the gallery 3 times per month (about 10 hours per month)
- Attend monthly meetings held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month
- Serve on at least one committee each year
- Serve as an Arbor Gallery Fine Art Ambassador by participating in the following:
- Serve as a pivotal force to the overall success and promotion of Arbor Gallery Fine Art
- Champion Arbor Gallery Fine Art’s mission
- Contribute to Arbor Gallery Fine Art’s growth and continued success
